1833 Capped Bust Today

Got out to a new old homesite. No signs of the house anymore just a huge iron field. I must admit the 1833 Capped Bust half dime was not found with the E-trac. I actually started out in the iron field with the Musketeer Colt ( awesome little machine ) and bang the very first solid signal I dug was the half dime. I litterly hadn't swung over 5 minutes. I decided with the dense Iron field I would get out the E-trac and it made the rest of the finds. Check out the wierd piece of flint rock, looks like a spoon. Could this be an indian artifact? hmmm.

Thanks for looking.

Great find on the half dime! It's a shame that they holed it so long ago. BTW, any idea what that relic is in your other pic in the lower left hand corner? I have found something similar and another guy on the Whatzit forum found one too. I'll try and post a pic.

Hi Eric, I have no idea what the little relic we both found was. I remember thinking it was only half of something and rechecked the hole thoroughly for the other half. Hmmm.
