I must say I was excited after reading Charle's in NY's post and decided to take the advice and go to AM mode. Since then, my last 4 hunts have produced. 1st the 64 Kennedy 1/2 I posted the other day, then a barber dime, followed by a rosie and then this.

I was only out for a brief hunt and 15 minutes in I got a chirp that I investigated. The digital screen moved around a bit then locked on 00 26 or 27. Pinpoint was 31 31. The sound was good, so I dug. After 4" was removed, I pinpointed as the signal was now iffy and I continued down. 3 more handfuls and the dirtpile sung! Out popped this baby in very nice condition. This was sandy soil at ~ 8 ". Thanks to Charles and the fella who re-posted it as the biggest difference for me today was setting my sensitivity. I turned it down to 22 based on the post... I was getting too much chirping. Turning it lower reduced this and created no nulling.
The elimination of most of it allowed me to hear something I may not have heard previously. Now I get to go over everything again.

I also ordered Any's book today and am excited about this read.

Gotta love it when you find them that old and in that condition. I would be jumping around if I found something like that! Congrats on those 3 finds. Hope to see you find many more and Good Luck and HH to you on your next outing.:super:

Super nice find Aaron! Looks like you're really starting to get the hang of the machine. I got your PM and sorry for the delayed reply, but it's been very hectic for me the last day or so. Hope you find some more like that one! Best, Erik
