1803 large lying on the surface, a Connecticut copper, and buttons

I got up early this morning and went out to the 1793 field. It was a fun morning! I've only found one other large cent on the surface and finding a state copper is always nice.

Great finds Gary, those Coppers are in great shape! I have found some Indian's and even a Franklin Half on top of the ground in fields but never a Large Cent...I just love it!!!:jump:
 
I guess the drought is over. That's good.

Easy diggin' GK , I have always heard tillage brings coin to the surface but that one was technically above WTG
