1800s wine tap and Medal from ribbon?

Found both of these at a 1820s home site. The property used to export wine in the 1820s to 1860s. The road to the ohio river was just 300 feet from where I found this. any ideas The was is over 60 ft long and at over 10 ft ft high
in spots. the Ohio river is 180 degees around from the wall. That is where the flat boats were loaded. They would to to New Orleans to deliver the wine. There is a road about 40 ft long that leads down o this wall and river.
 
That is so cool! I bet on a warm spring day, the snakes start pouring out of that wall maybe...:thumbup:
