This is another very old tool I thought some of you might like to see.It is a mid 1800's Cooper's Handled & Bolted Adzes.
Adzes were used for many things.They were made for carving out wood. This one was used by a Cooper for making the old wooden barrels.I love old tools.They show how this country was built.Hope you enjoy looking at them.If you don't then just let me know and I will stop posting them.
