Hi all. here is a button that I found yesterday at an old logging camp site way back in the brush. At first I thought the button said Levi Strauss >>>but it seemed like an unusual button in size and thin as a dime...so i took a closer look to find that it says " Levi Cook & Co NY " . Ive tried to search the net for the company and all i could find is some google merchants magazine documents (old newspapers) and It states an ad for the Levi Cook Co. as being manuf. of combs and dealers of linens threads and buttons. the papers are dated the yr 1851.

Oh..the button was 5" down...love the atpro...my 4th day now with the unit

if anyone else has anymore info on the Levi Cook Co....it would be appreciated

Nice find and a great picture. I hope you are liking the AT as much as I am??? Z

Thanks...I love the unit..so far so good. Just waiting for the ice to leave the lakes so i can hit the water
