180 meter question

Hello Everyone, I just ordered a 180 meter for my Sov. GT and was wondering does it come with a chart of some type to give me the different values for the various targets one might find?

Hi, I have a new to me xs on it's way. I bought this detector to use in a corn field that is loaded with pyrite the dirt is black. This area saw action in the French and Indian war and the revolutioary war. After securing permission from an older gentleman farmer I proceeded to hunt very excited as to what I might find. I did manage to find five regiment buttons including a Queens Orange rangers, a few musket balls one buckle and a few bust cents and Reales. This may seem like a lot but I detected for about fifty hours and there are about two hundred acres and almost all of it is littered with square nails. On my second day there I decided to adjust my DFX to see if I could get better results and what I discovered was depressing, I could detect a small nail about a foot deep but lead, copper, pewter or silver would give no responce after appx. three inches. Next I tried my Exterra 70 and had the same results. I also used a detector land pro and a fisher ID excel, out of all of them the fisher was slightly deeper maybe four inches for a large cent. Well I took a soil sample to my mineraloligist friend and he said it was loaded with pyrite. I'm not sure but this sounds like minelab country to me and was wondering if an expert sovereign user could give me any advise on how to set and operate it in this envirornment. Any reply will be greatly appreceiated. Thank you, Darryl.
