Hello from California!
Thank you for this much-needed forum!
An explorer user in Eureka California has a website of his own, with a lot of good THing links.
But the best thing I found was a page with over 18 ways to clean your finds, collected from other forums, where he posts.
His web URL is:
http://mikewd.fws1.com/
His site has pages of tips on using detectors.
He posts as Mike from Eureka, CA. Mike also has a sore arm, so he has to revert back to his CZ machine a lot! He calls his XS "'Ol Bruiser". He also has a Minelab forum for the XS on
http://www.eastern-design.com/diggernet/
But there hasn't been much activity on it lately. Good stuff here and there, though.
Check some of the other forums on digger.net.
