hunted for 8hrs today i started out with the though of digging only gold sounding targets but when i arrived at the beach i saw the water was a bit rough so i had to hunt the shallows which i"d hit before
i decided to run in all metal & dig the iffy signals this payed off big time the first target of the day was a 1961 silver florin which had a 5c coin 2 inch away from it the rest of the targets in the water at this spot where pull tabs & 1c-2c coins.
the waves got a bit bigger & i was gettin knocked about so i headed up to the sand using the same method i started pulling old predecimal coins at amazing depths the best was a 1925 threepenny bit at 7 inch all up i got 14 silver coins here.
about 10:30 i headed over to another beach to pursue my first goal of finding gold this beach is nice & sheltered & i was able to get out in the water started popping out a few coins & plenty of old junk then i got a bouncy signal scooped it up rusty nail check it again a much better signals still there i scooped it up & in the bottom of my scoop is the first gold of the day
about an hour later i get another bouncy signal i scoop & scoop & finally out pops a 1921 silver florin ( same size as a US half dollar ) the same thing happens 5min later for a very nice old silver locket after that i just hit junk
hope ya enjoy the pics
