18 degrees in Michigan.... Lets go hunting!

Hit a old Boy Scout camp today, closed since the 50's. I've dug a ton of coins out of this spot last year and decided to take the deus over the same "cleaned out" spots... 18 degrees was today's high temp, but I had a blast! Not too many more days to hunt in Michigan, and the Deus was begging to get out! 10 wheats, 1 merc, 1 Rosie, 1 war nickel, arrowhead charm, presidential coin, and a 1946 dog license.. LOVE the Deus!!!

Tenacity. I'm in sw michigan. I have found some good stuff hacking through the frost but not today. I'm itching to get out.

Yeah? I'm over on the west side near MKG...thats some good work for January in Michigan! :clapping: I'll be hitting the sledding hills this weekend, hope you get out again!

Looks like a good but cold hunt.

Check the woods.... The thick layer of leaves in Michigan prevent the frost line from freezing. We have over a foot if snow, and temps get to --10 some nights... Still no frost in the woods!!
