It's true......I have personally experienced the same depth on some gold rings too. I hate posting those depths, cause people don't believe it. That's why I bought the "MONSTOR SCOOP" A lot of people are afraid of a PI. They think it will beep on everything. That's good for you and me. The Garrett Infinium has some nice discrimination abilities, to help with that issue. We don't dig every signal, because we know what the bad ones sound like.
