18.75khz elepitical coil and fine gold chains.

Hi Guys,
Has any of you guys tried the 18.75 10 elipitical coil on the exterra 70 on fine gold chains with links 2/8 x 3/8. Just wondering if it can pick them up.

Mate

I have tried this coil a few times at the beach doing test runs and it was very sensitive I would say it would have no problem picking up the gold chain on the Friday just gone it picked up small silver ring about 6
 
Will be getting mine on the 1st of Feb 2007 and am looking forward to it. I have heard only good things about it so Im eager to test it out myself. It will definetly be more stable in highly minerlized areas and if your on the beach dont forget to play with your sensitivity a little and maybe turn it down a bit. The round 10'5 DD coil would be well suited to gold on the beach as well and I will be investing in that coil also.
