17in coil in Hawaii

New member
I live o the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii and do beaches in and out of water, I want to get the 17in coil? Is it worth it? Thanks for your help in advance.. Aloha

I've read several reports of the17" having its place in certain conditions, but hunting IN the water isn't one of them. It becomes much to hard to swing that paddle through the water. Stick to the land in a low trash area and you'll have a great time.

The beach in dry sand would be perfect. Covers a huge area. In the surf would be bad IMHO. Current, waves would all work against you. To much leverage to swing well.
