1793, silver and a few toasties

From the land of the Bluenose....hit the road today with Johnny White Pail and headed to Windsor to do some digging since the rain had let up for a few hours. One of the places we tried was the old house which sits on the site of the original French fort in the area. Found a few things there then hit the field near the old Sangters Inn which produced a lot of older coppers as usual including a 1793 (schooner token of some sort). Not one of the 7 coins found here newer then 1840. Invited in for a tea by the owner who showed JWP the 70 some odd coppers that I had turned over to her and got a few more notes for my upcoming article on this spot.

After that location it was off to a local park which was still like a swamp where JWP found a large 1882 penny, silver braclet and a 66 with crown silver guild button and I a 1913 dime.

A good day to say the least.

Well will move but probably not 'that' far north.

You do get some amazing finds Leslie - congrats to you and to your detecting friends for the finds they have been getting as well.
