1788 Nova Cesarea??

Hey everyone,

I was taking my new 17 inch out for its maiden voyage, and last outing for the season and pulled 2 coppers from a field next to my colonial home that has produced 8 coppers, 3 half reales, and a GW button. One is a draped bust no date and I believe I have a 1788 Nova Cesearea New Jersey copper!!!!! I can see the Pluribus Unum on the back, and the horse head on the front. The horse is off to the right side, and it matches the 1788 design in my blue book. Both coins are standing with the design leveled. What do you guys think?? What a way to end the season here in NY!!

I only spent an hour making 3 passes across the field and they were in the same path about 30 feet apart. I have a ton more ground to cover and I hope theres some early American silver somewhere there.

Actually It warmed back up here and melted all of the 9 inches of snow, I was able to go back and cover more ground today, but only found 2 buckles for horse harnesses. Guess I was super lucky during that shorter hunt.

I studied your coin and am fairly certain It is a 1786 Maris 24-P variety. It is not a 1788.
