Not into bad shape considering it's age. I found this one only a couple hundred feet away from where I found those four other connecticut copper coins.

I hear ya! down south hitting the late 1800 is an awesome and rare thing. Congrats and another amazing recovery
 
Believe it or not, I think you could probably attribute the variety due to the sharpness of the letters on the right side of the coin and the spacing of them. It actually looks like a familiar variety.
 
The a and the c appeared spaced apart from the rest. I was wondering if it was a counterfeit.
 
Gary, I think I have the same variety in my collection. Mine is pretty cruddy, but look at the alignment of the O N N E on and you can see the resemblance.
