Hi guys
Towards a while showing no hunting, the weather has been pretty bad, the rain has not stopped in the last six months, the sunny days have been few and the temperature is half of last year at the same time, and this is sun country.
On Tuesday, I went in search of a car at any location, the AT PRO roared into the trunk forward to working. I met a farmer working his small garden in the middle of a meadow of small dimensions, here all lands are small.

Stop the car and started the dialogue. They were a retired man, very kind and friendly the same town as my wife's family and eager to talk lol I gave permission and began my hunt. The place was very convenient to detect but there was only trash. I was a little discouraged and ending the proa when the bell rang and appeared this coin of our beloved King Carlos III, 4 maravedis 1780 Battered by years buried but with enough light to identify it. Back in the car, I found a "blonde" one peseta and 10 cents of Alfonso XII of 1890 approx. Do not put pictures that are a waste of conservation. Return home quite happy.

Two days later, I went to another place, on the cliffs of the coast.

Do not have much time but I could not vice. It is a place where families will be spending a day in summer and youth night. Several spills coins, worthless or old monetary or two casting spills, this can be very old, very very old is bronze. A bullet 50 caliber muzzleloader + / -, the clapper of a bell of cattle and a nice button that is not very old.

Last Sunday, I took a friend to the valley to teach some sites that I had located on your computer. We visited a couple of interesting places, old hermitages in the forest edge and talked to a farmer for permission. No problem son, told me very friendly, when you bring someone from the place everything is easier.
Without much thought, back in the afternoon to one of the places,

a beautiful field where once a year there is a pilgrimage for many years. Expectations were good the weather was bad, the rain threatened to return. I started to walk and spent the time and had just prao had gone away alone. When I finished the rain was intense and my entire clothing was soaked but it was worth it.
Others 4 maravedis of Charles III, this a later year 1781 in very good condition. A 1870 5 cents near perfect a resealing of 165? very bleak the poor, a button eighteenth century copper, a penny "blonde" and lead seal with an old patina.

Great hunt senda. Thanks for the story and pictures. Your countryside is beautiful!

Wonderful finds and another Great post/pics with great details!:clapping: You are doing what you can to get out in the weather, and that's a good thing...a little water never hurt no body, and the AtPro can handle it if you can.:buds:
Mud

Thanks Surfman, is a pleasure to share
Thanks Mud, it is also a pleasure to share with you, but six months raining 2 out of 3 days that's not a little water ... but if the ATPRO hold, me too, by Jove!:beers:

fantastic finds!

Nice scenery and lots of old coins you :detecting::thumbup:

WOW! With all the nice pictures and story, it was like I was right there with you. Thank you for taking the time to post all that. It made my day!--Dan

Thanks for sharing your finds, Senda - those are some beautiful old coins and relics. I always enjoy your stories and photos of the photos of the lush landscapes of your area.

Thank you thank you thank you. His words my heart swell with pride. Thanks: earthlypotluck, Joel-Winnipeg, idaho dan and William-NM, and those who only looked too.
The story is longer, there are always things anecdotes to tell. My English is not good, sorry. A farmer asked me to company Company worked, and a woman wait a while for me to find diamonds in her garden and her husband thought the machine pulled the metal herself, without having to dig .... I like to find people without polluting lol
best regards

Thanks for taking us along on your hunt, I love the great scenery and you made some great finds on those old coins!! I see you have the speaker taped over on your Propointer. If you are trying to keep water out, try using waterproof silicone and then apply the tape. You should also silicone over the light, water will run right into the electronics. If you can't find the silicone at a hardware store, aquarium sealer is the same thing.

Thanks BCD, is good advice. I do it more for the dust by water, but I think I will follow your advice, it's good.
best regards

Do not know how I ended up here on the Garret forum but, I must comment those are some nice digs. :clapping:
You all on the other side of the pond sure have it good for the oldies.
Hunting abroad one day is on my bucket list for sure.

Thanks MikeO, yes, I'm on the other side of the pond, in the old Spain. You are all invited to come, travel, accommodation and food on your own ....
best regards

So you not going to put any of us up at your humble abode? Not even feed us after a goods days hunt with good food and spirits?
Can't say I blame you.

Here is the back of the 1783 Real I found (along with the front) last season as you asked for.

CONGRATS......................

MikeO Thanks, this Real is fantastic, I will try to get information about it.
Thanks TRIPLE-SSS, it is a kind but do not forget where you live there is also a story, unfortunately only metal the last 400 years, but one big story, not to mention the battlefields of the wars of Independence, Secession , Indians ... bufff I shudder to think, just think, one day to see those places with my eyes ...
Johnny Cache Thanks, I'm glad that you like my humble findings

It was a joke, MikeO ... in my house there is always a plate of food and a jug of wine or beer for friends diggers, of course :beers: notice the day before
best regards
