What a neat find! Too bad about the soldier's head. Even so it's still a cool find! IT looks like you have an awesome place to detect! Sooner or later your bound to pull a gold coin out of there! ross^_^
 
1000 year old roads? Mike, You must be in the old world. Hey thanks for recognizing the 4th of July thats pretty cool of you. Kinda makes me feel the fool for not knowing of the holidays from other parts of the world.
