After finding this gem i had to dig out every target under under my 17" coil , and this is what I found !

I keep my 17" on all the time and have no problem with target separation !

Congrats on the beautiful seated dime! how deep was it?

12-36 and 6 to 8 inches I took a good shovel and it was still in the hole, ended up being slightly off center of pinpoint so a little on edge.

Great find. Congrats!
I don't think some people appreciate how good the CTX 17" is in an ironfield.

Thats Sure is a Beauty! :thumbup:Keep it up and keep us posted!

Damn! And you had to dig through all that Granite too, to get to it! I want to know what kind of shovel you used!

Wow, nice find!!! I find the 17" little bit on the heavy side after swinging it for a few hours....do you use some harness while you using it??

Nice find among the square's!! 17" ROCKS!!! :minelab:

Yes the 17" can get heavy I have found moving the arm cuff all the way to the back ,even almost coming off the back of the guide really helps me.

It will also help if you shorten the lower shaft which moves the fulcrum point back closer to your hand and puts less strain on the arm to hold it up.
