The Gulf was churning today so I hit up high where the waves had eaten about a foot of new ground leaving many coins/targets in the new sand.I was trying to mainly concentrate on "gold" signals and bypass the pennies and dimes . I take the quarter signals because occasionally I find a nice silver ring with those numbers.I like the ground coverage and depth I get with the 17" coil and was able to snag a small 10k ring at about 9".Had to leave after the tourists filled the high tide strip but I believe more goodies are to be found .I'll keep you posted.
