Great finds and especially for just an hour of your time. That's what's so great about this hobby and with an Ace-250, too. 1627!!!! That's going to be hard to repeat. I can just imagine that ring being used as a seal ring to attach the coat of arms or some other recognizable symbol to some wax to seal a document. Or, I can imagine it being used to unlock a secret passage in some castle or escape tunnel. A novel by Louis L'Amour called the Walking Drum explains life in Europe in the Dark Ages. In a realistic way.

I realize 1627 was not the Dark Ages, but the info about the castles still pertains. 2 cents.
