Got out today to a place that i've hunted for the last 5 year's or so. It's about 10 acres in size so there is a lot of ground to cover. It's had a trap shooting range on it, they used to set up a carnival there for many year's,the circus used it as well. Today i decided to use my big coil. I hunted for 5 hour's an found a 1943d quarter, 4 mercury dime's,(24s,35d,42d and45d).two ks tax token's and 7 wheat pennies. Thank's for looking Al HH
Just got back from Hutchison did a little coin hunting, Kansas grass is tough compared to Illinois. After seeing the damage those prairie dogs do I will not complain too much about our moles to much in Illinois anymore.Nice coins you got there.
Were the targets deeper than normal and picked up by the 15x12...or do you think you just happened to pass the 15x12 over the target. In otherwords do you think your other coils you've used in the past could not detect these targets because of their depth? Just curious?
