1562 silver hammered and more...

I have permits that are a pain to get but once you have it and know how to fill out all the paperwork it isn't bad. I detect mostly farm fields and only have two hard "no you can't detect my land" under my belt, LOL. Probably well over 100 farmers have said yes. HH, Mike

I was asked to provide a better picture of the bowl weight markings for IDing from a forum friend so I thought I would post it here as well. You can clearly see the funky

Great finds Mike. I enjoyed my 20 months in Bavaria but couldn't visit the families origins because it was in East Germany at that time.
I did learn scuba diving and for my check out trip we dove in the Tegernsee and found a lot of boobie trapped military equipment while we were in the water.
One of our instructors picked up a large round ball that he used for a door stop, late he learned it contained live explosives so he got rid of it.

Particularly anything that has wording and a date. Congrats on recovering some nice pieces of history. I'd love to hunt an area where people lived in the 1500's. HH Randy

WOW!

If only I could find just one of the items you did, I'd be super happy and think, HECK... That was a great year! LOL

Holly cow, what a fun place to hunt. It would be super incredible.

Odd that you need a "permit." I always found it strange when you need a special permission on public land to simply swing a disc and pick up mostly trash (which is what I usually find, ie pop can tabs, beer tops, nails.)

I guess it is to protect from the arrogant. The ones who trespass without carring, dig huge holes, never refill them, and the trash they do find, they just leave lying there.

Those are some fantastic finds Mike! I really like the weights they are very cool! Good work as usual, Beale.
