Really nice coin found recently in Germany. About the same size as a US 25 cent.

Outstanding find - a huge congrats ! :clapping:

Can't see in the photo's - is this coin actually dated 1532 ?

Yes it is dated 1532, if you look at the 3rd photo to the right ( reverse ) and look at the 11 o'clock position. Remember numbers were written different 500 years ago versus today.

Awesome find!!! Huge congrats to you.:yikes:

I was stationed at Spagdahlem, AFB in Germany back in the mid 70's. Loved being in Germany. I don't know, maybe the beer had something to do with it......Anyway, congrats again!!

The pictures really do not do justice to the coin, it still has most of the original mint luster intact.

Found with an XP Deus.

I see all your posts and I'm amazed at how many different places you went in ONE DAY! As this is the "Todays Finds" forum you must be a busy guy. Perhaps you should post all these finds of the day in one post.

Awful lot of amazing finds, like mind blowing! Are all these older finds? And just deciding to post these days? Anything new with some video? Were you alone, or someone there to see it happen?

MCB I am new to Findmall, but definitely not new to detecting. It should be painfully obvious that I am new to taking pictures and posting them, this is a work in progress. And these are finds that I have made over the years, I have never alluded to these finds all being from one day. My assumption is that us dirt diggers lust after seeing nice stuff, even from other dirt diggers ( I know I do, I am almost as motivated when my partner makes a nice find as when I make a nice find ). I have a LOT more in the pipeline. Will start with some artifacts soon. The first artifact will be a Viking hand axe.

The items are all " once in a lifetime" finds to many of us . Nothing personal, just alot of BS'ers posting false finds. Actially had a young lad ask to purchase a load of silvers, obly to find him post a cache find, a week later. Not so much here, but other popular forums. In the states, it is very very rare for us to even find one gold US coin. With that being said, the finds are awesome, just skeptical. Like I said, nothing personal !

MCB being skeptical is OK, I am cool with that. Keep in mind though have been detecting since 1995 and I am a very motivated hunter. I hunt primarily in Germany, England, Scotland, Spain and Florida. I live in Germany and have a condo on Okaloosa Island in Florida. I am not here to sell anything, win any awards or seeking any ones approval. I am simply here sharing some nice things I have found over the years, my reward would be a few OOHS and AAHS. For the record my hunting partners collection makes mine look like a beginners.
