Found with my Excal . wi/ MGMs. Seeing it for $1495 new, around 600 on the resale.

Another great find! I just bought the MGM headphones after reading your endorsement in your last book. Can't wait to get to Florida at the end of January.

It seems logical that this was a water hunt find, however the Excal can be used on the dry as well.

Would you care to share a few details or will we have to wait for your next book? :shrug:

I found one that was doa so i took it in to see about fixing it,thay said 400.00 to fix it i thru it in my junk box when i got home,i might fix it one day just not now nice find cj

Scuba, I remember your post and could see how it may have been taken as criticizing the value cjc placed on the value of the watch. Sometimes it's really tough to read the intent of online posts, and perhaps the moderators were simply erring on the side of caution. That said, I agree there should at least be some type of email informing long time posters when a post is considered questionable and removed.
 
I never meant it to be negitive. I actually did mean Nice payday if he could get it. I have 2 Swiss Army watches and a whole drawer of other ones that I have never tried to sell. Watches, lke diamond jewlery have a strange value placed on them. I sold my ring that I was told was worth 12 - 15 thousand , the one pictured on my avatar for 2500.00. Thats the most I could get from it.
