Well sending her in for repair so it looks like I'm stuck using my DEUS and at pro for up to 15 days!! I hate that! I used the external speaker while water hunting this past weekend and now the speaker sounds blown! It's never done this before, and I water hunt a lot, but anyhow when a tone comes thru this external speaker it's a god awful sound!! It's BADDDDD?!?!??

Ouch! That stinks. I probably just hunt in the rain with the CTX. I specifically like the idea that I can continue hunt when it's raining. I don't think I'll ever submerse mine. I have an Excalibur for underwater hunting.

Well false Alarm I fixed it! If your speaker ever sounds like crap, you need to check it before you send it off to Minelab, I removed the 4 speaker screws and pulled the back off so I could see the speaker and there's a piece of plastic over the speaker come I assume to keep it from getting wet during rain or submersing it! I had three tiny I mean TINY PIECES of gravel that got thru the whole of the guard and stuck to the plastic and I guess was causing it to vibrate wrong! I brushed them off and boom it's working!! Very weird I turned it off and on with the speaker out with the rocks on and it was doing it!! Then brushed them off and it's sounds perfect!!' Thank God..... Cause I was gonna be lost!! Profind is still going back though!! Lol
