Is there a issue with the coil

The coil is working perfectly and was removed by a technician at Minelab at the Pennsylvania repair center. I had this coil on my Minelab Excalibur II in order to find deeper buried objects on the beach. I decided to get back into the water and put on a standard 10" Excalibur coil because it is easier to move back/forth underwater and I could dig objects that weren't as deep. I decided to keep the coil and resell it to someone who could use it.

Does it have the connector on the end ?

It does not have a connector as it was directly wired to the Excalibur internally. Depending on the detector you have, you should first confirm this coil is compatible and contact the detector repair center who can do the work (Minelab, etc). I can give you the Minelab information otherwise you can try calling Kellyco.

This coil is designed for the Sovereign Series, but I don't have a connector. I'm not sure if you want to do this yourself as you need to know the wiring and it has to be done exactly or it could damage the machine.

I will see if a connector is available.

Hi Jed, it's 7 feet long, and doesn't have a connector because it was directly attached to my Excal II. If you know how to add the connector that can be done, or you can send it to the Minelab repair shop. I'll ask Sal if he wants it.
