A Buddhist or Hindu prayer bracelet. I found one similar last year but have only recently managed to find a translation. The one I have has different wording, but do a google image search for "Om Namah Shivaya bracelet" and see if you can find one that matches yours (click on the pic to go to the home page and there should be a translation).
