14k Peridot/36 diamond chips Monday...18k w/diamonds today!

My luck at finding rings with diamonds,3 of them these past 2 weeks along with 2 14k bands,is better than I have done in the past year. It's a wonder to me,the way things had been going(broke a couple toes, thought I killed the DF,jobs canceling on me) that things have been going so well when MDing.
Monday I found the 14k Peridot halo ring, and after I picked it out of the scoop,I let the scoop with shells and all land on the broken toes,...Yes,I wear shoes......could not work Tuesday, called the job and they canceled!Today's job canceled at 8AM,so off to the beach I went....Took 3 flips of the coin to decide which beach and with heavily taped up toes I was in the water by 9AM and home by noon.
The waters are gin clear and still pretty calm even though a West wind was starting up along with some lite rain,no lightning! The clear water makes setting the scoop so simple even in chest deep water.Found my second pair or amber lens Ray-Bans P in a couple weeks,$1.45 coin,3 junk earrings, and the 18k,3.4g/diamond ring.Already took it to my jeweler after lunch....wanted to know if it was stamped 8k or 18k,as the 1 is worn almost away, and if the diamonds are real..18k & real diamonds....:clapping:....Glad I got out Monday and Today, changes in our weather are coming! GL HH ALL

Aint that just SOMETHING!:surprised: I'll be busting my toes for a find like that if that's what it takes! Well, at least your entire life doesn't suck..sure your toes are broke, and the jobs are sporadic, but toes heal, and jobs are often a temporary and unprofitable nusiance anyway...Your DETECTING is sure in the zone!
Lemme hear a little more about this streak you got going...you are evidently approaching the beach with some sort of strategy? Working certain areas a certain distance from shore perhaps? What? Luck? That's a lot of rings in a short time on a heavy hunted beach...you may PM me if you don't want your pals to find out the secret, or, you can toss out some chaff here to throw them off, and THEN PM me with the truth!
Mud

Well Mud......I didn't have squat going my way this summer water hunting until the end of July, compared to last summer, this is a slow one.!And its not like I hadn't put in many, many hours with nothing to show but a bunch of tabs,wire,caps..etc..etc.....Remember,I got a PI....Dig IT all!....You have to take into consideration as to where the people are spending their time in the water...The tides during the day can put the majority of the depositors in the trough(between the beach and sandbar) on the sandbar,or at the outside edge of the bar...Being out there 2/4 days a week you can see pattern as to where they spend their time at a high tide or low. This morning when I got out it was a high falling tide,so I started in the trough and on the bar moving in and out up the beach, and later ending up outside the bar on the way back......Mondays 14k ring was found on the bar...today's 18k was on the outside edge.Wave action is also a big factor, especially with a late afternoon sea breeze as people can get slammed by the rollers breaking on the bar into the trough if their not looking.....A lot of time spent hunting, digging and luck of the coil ending up on top of a good target is bound to happen sooner or later....

Wow! Great finds, I love the Ray-bans and awesome diamonds!! Comfrey (also know as knit bone) is a great way to help fractures and broken bones heel in a very quick time. Check it out, It helped my fractured wrist so much. If you want info just let me know. Its very cheap and available most health stores. My wrist was better (I'm a professional juggler and escapologist) after 10 days! Good luck keep the gold and diamonds coming:)
