14k Diamond and Maybe Ruby Ring

Nice TD
The area looks real nice and not to busy. Looks like no parking problems.
Nice collection of tabs and a bonus for the jewelery.
Glad to hear your new digging tool is working out. Looks sturdy to handle the frozen ground.

Congrats on that nice ring Tabdog! Very good find for sure! I think your digge did a very good job, Beale.

Great job digging tabdog. I hope the stones turn out to be rubies. I am glad you like the Vaqueero, it's encouraging.

Tdog:

From a gemologists point they look like rubies or spinel. The color may make them low quality rubies or pink sapphires. They look very clear with no inclusions and that may even mean that they are lab created. Not fake, just man-made. My guess is they are pink spinels or pink sapphires. You wouldn't generally wouldn't put lab created stones on a ring of that quality. Have seen it done but not often. Man I want to get out and get going. Too cold in southeastern Utah.

Congratulations

Is the digger homemade or a commercial product?

**Oops. Never mind. I just saw your post below**

Cheers.

Tab
No joke Tab i would give my right arm to find rings like yours, thought at first when i looked at the ring it had a joint made into it, but guess you cleaned the ring in that spot to test it ???,
Ive stoped using a small spade, now i use the Leashe Digger(think Ive spelt OK ) saves so much time/makes life a fair bit easier,
Top find, stones should be good if the Rings Gold,

See ya
Dave/Holey Dollar.

Hey TD, as an old, inexperienced "V" user, a comment. The "V" is like a cell phone, when least expected It "rings" you..My wish is that you have many more "ring tones" this season. Sven is working on my Vaquero , weather may hit 50. but ground should be still frozen.Guess it'll be" HI HO, Silver" to the wood chips,,,cordially NAD.
