1400 DD Observations

1.The coil is definity heavier than stock but I have found that it balances real well. I actually let
the coil cover slid on the ground more that I normally do.
2. Pinpoints easy.
3. Doesn't track (gb) as easy as other coils.I have
been occasionally "bobbing" or using Lock will work.
4. So far the deepest .58 that I have found has been
10-11 inches. I suspect max on a drop to be around
12-13 inches under normal circumstances.
5. My hunting pardner and myself have been finding
targets that we missed with smaller coils. I don't
know if we just walked over and the coil didn't
see them or the 1400 is a little more sensitive.
6. I have been able to run the coil "wide open"
with no problems with chatter and high power
lines haven't been a problem either.
7. Pretty good at seperation but it's a given
that coil size affects seperation.
Hope this has answered some questions.
Best to all, Richardntn
