Came in yesterday. Placed on MXT, it's one big coil. EXtremely heavy, I also will use the swingy-thingy from docs. I wouldn't last 30 mins without it.
 
.... because you'll be putting it down frequently to dig those DEEPER targets that you would have MISSED by NOT using it. Hope you find lotsa good stuff with it! HH jim
 
4-5 hours without much trouble--As to weight--The 14 inch does feel light (to Me) after using that--1 thing you can do is shorten up the coil rod shorter than normal----That will take some weight off your arm-Keeps it closer to your feet--- --I aint tall so I put a extra hole to make it even shorter--The way I used to find the correct place to drill hole is---Measure down on rod (2 Sides--make a circle --Hold up the rod--THEN stand 90 degrees to the sun or brite light--You will be able to see a STRAIGHT line up-down rod mark 2 spots opposite each other---Using the ORIGINAL holes as a guide---If you have done this correct--your holes will be in correct spot---Takes only a few minutes to do this---
