ID jumping all over the place. Probably wouldn’t dig it if surrounded by normal beach trash - just because of the tone bin it is in and the low volume.
A coil is supposed to detect to its diameter so it is doing what it is supposed to do.
 
CalabashDigger, thanks for the testing.....I'll have to dig the deepies and see what comes up if the tone is getting it.
