that is what I was told the heat treating company may have to pay for some parts that had a single scratch on each of them. Was given a 'box cutter' type knife and told to remove the plastic and the newspaper protective material around these huge chunks of metal that looked a lot like those replacement door lock stems (so people couldn't use a coat hanger to pull up on the old door lock that had the big head to em) and about 4 feet long and about 6 inches wide.

Took my time and tried to slice only thru the plastic and not the newspaper. Supposedly 8 of these had a long scratch mark where it is assume it was done with the knife. I only did 3 or maybe 4 of the parts. No one but me admited to slicing the plastic.

It was bad enough to hear about that. The company who owns them are trying to fix the problem. If they can't the heat treating company just bought a bunch of useless metal.

Onto more fun. Seems that not only is my step-mother in a hospital in Saginaw and my mother-in-law in a hospital in Grayling but now hear my sister-in-law as well is in a hospital somewhere - which explains why Sherry has not been able to reach her. Unfortunately for Sherry, her Mother is the only one who knows whether meds have been ordered for her husband Ed and she (Renee) and Gwen - Sherry's sister are the only 2 who have a clue about finances - and they are about out of food up north. Sherry only has a few dollars left of the money she took with her. Sherry and Casey are up north and I am here in Lansing - with no money to get up to see them.

There is other news but not good and not going to get into it all - just in case Sherry is rerading this she has enough to worry about up there without worrying what is happening here. If she is reading this the animals are all fine and I am well and the van works so rest easy and 'worry not'.

Well folks sorry to tell bad news and run but have to get some things done around here.

My prayers for all those who are in need - that God, our wonderful Father will meet and exceed your needs in the name of Jesus.

Trying to keep positive and faithful

Sorry to hear about that Pete. Hope it all works out well... will say a prayer for you tonight for sure. Don't worry; He's in control...

There are only a few jobs I can think of as being 'critical'. Surgeons are certainly on top of the list. Those hauling explosives. Police and firemen, hospital triage and ambulance personnel. Those who do experiements with deadly chemical and biological agents. Never would I think that a heat treating company would be 'up there' with the biggies.

You certainly are being tested.....but keep the faith and continue on for Jesus! Sorrow endureth for a night but joy comes in the morning! Your night might be long before the morning comes but it will come by walking in Jesus' light and not letting satan get you down!

God Bless!
Betty
