1350 walk in the park

Well-known member
I took the 1350 out for a walk in the park and found some change and a really different ring.

May I ask what settings you were using to find all that booty? I'm very new to the Garrett 1500 (I love the Tesoro Tejon). I know I have to slow down my pace, and I've tried the settings John E posted, but I suspect that I'm missing a lot of coins.
Thanks in advance,
Tagamet

I have used many metal detectors though the years, but have always Been outdone by a friend of mine who uses Garrett's all the time. We used to laugh at him because he was slow and just putted along. But he Most always beat us by coin count every time. Now when I go out I just Putt along. Slow down, don't be in a hurry to try and beat someone you are hunting with. Also I have done very good with the use of a smaller coil. Get in between the trash. In between the trash is what a lot of people have been walking over for years.
