1350 or Ace250

Bws

New member
Hi Guys, I have been out of the Hobby for a couple of years, I had a Minelab EXP2, Excalibur and an Ace 250 for a short period. To make a long story short we lost everything in a fire almost 2 years ago. The hobby had to go on hold and I am just now getting to the point I can afford to get back into the hobby and enjoy it. Funds are tight but I am considering a 1350 with no accessories for now or an Ace250 with a nice digger, pin pointer and a sniper coil. I have never used a 1350 but it seems to have great reviews. I am in Ohio and make a trip to the beach once a year or so. Would I be better off to go with the 1350 or the Ace? Mainly coin shooting- Any advice would be appreciated. This would have to do me for quite awhile--Take care, Blair

On a side note I have been detecting for about 7 years

If my budget was tight, I would go with the Ace-250 and accessories you mentioned. I wish I had started out with this unit. I have a good unit in the GTI-2500, but it's taken me a long time to learn it.

I use the GTP 1350, it does a good job descriminating targets, I also use the ace250. Good for the price range! Has salt water elimination for beaches!

The 1350 is a great machine but it won't find anymore than the 250 will and if you get the 250, Sniper, and Pro-Pointer, you'll be pretty well loaded for bear. You can always work up to the 1350 later butnyou may find the 250 is all you need. It's a real coin magnet.
