Found this beautiful baby today at 3" in a grassy park area...I was highly surprised...Only my 4th Solid Gold item...ever!!!
Pretty sure it is solid, as I have rubbed the crud out of it and no flaking...Also clasp IS soldered to chain.

cool how much is that worth at spot? how did it read?
 
I use the park pattern mode listed in the sticky, so my chances to find gold are slim in my opinion, It rang up as 11-13 to 12-12...I thought I was gonna get a nickel...lol
At current spot, it is worth $328.13 ... Whoohoo!!!
