Got out today with the new coil. Walked out on the sand and turned on the ET and it went crazy. Almost like EMI or as if the Sens was maxed out in manual. Nothing i could do would simmer it down. -3 auto didnt do much. I went to manual down to 7 and it was stable as long as i held the coil 5 inches above the sand. Get close or touch the sand and it was R2D2 on meth. Does this sound normal to you guys? If not i'll have to call the big K tomorrow.

Pro coil on the same beach, same sand is rock solid and dead quite until you go over something.

Just put the Etrac and coil up on the test bench. Have only the coil and machine hooked up. No upper or lower rod. As long as the coil is sitting still its fine. If i grab the coil and shake it it falses with every shake. I tried it with the stock coil and it doesnt do this.

Yea somthing isnt right. Other people with the same machine and coil get stable results. Looks like im going to call it in tomarrow and get it replaced.

As long as the conector is tight it Don't sound right to me, mine are all stable on the beach. What i did notice though on all was that the nut where the cable joins the coil was slack, only hand tight.

Max, on the etrac you can't set auto 28, only auto, or +/- 1, 2, or 3

Kered i noticed that too.
I was expecting a chirp or two. But it is unusable as it sits. When you have enough swing time in as most of you do. You know when something isnt right.
