12x15 on ETRAC

For the large fields that I go too this coil does great. I can cover more ground and the depth you get with it is unbelievable. May add some more weight but the benefits are worth it in the long run.

3ringer, mine came the other day and out was out with it today. It managed to find a few shotgun shells I'd missed before which at least proves it's depth capability to me. Do you have any tips regarding settings? I'm knocking out the everything below 33 coupled with the minelab nail reject (which is in the machine choices.) I am using ferrous 4 tone, and have the gain turned down to 20 to try to knock out the false signals a little more. Does this sound okay for this coil? Anything here sound wrong? Thanks

raymo, I have tried conductive, but probably not enough. I still have a lot to learn about this machine. It may be in my imagination, but it seems I have more trouble with high pitched false signals from iron with conductive, and there is a lot of iron where I'm hunting. Also what i'm looking for is going to be deep now, and I'd read somewhere that many people prefer ferrous for depth? If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll give conductive another try.
