Just bought this machine on e-bay..Need imput "pros and cons" I own it so tell me what to expect.. I'm new so I need any and all info. You will not hurt my feelings, I promise!!! If this machine does not do the job I will look for another;. will be on soft sand, hard sand and water..Will I be the poptop king.. "Peg Leg Red"
 
Pro:It will work and you have something to use!
Con:There is always something better!
Have fun with it.The coil has to go over the metal no matter the machine.
Go to the Fisher factory site and download the manual.Study that joker.
 
Peg leg red,quit worrying about your detector get out there and use it.Listen to the Hermit he has lots of exp. learn your machine you have a good one , now go find the gold.

It's a great fresh water machine that will work okay in salt water. It goes deep and loves iron so you will have to get used to the sounds of iron, pulltabs, coins and rings. There are subtle differences. Get yourself a belt clip so that you can mount the cpu on a belt and take all the weight off of you arm. If you do that you will be able to hunt all day in the water and on the dry sand.
