After not using my 1208x for about 2 yrs it won't go on. I changed the battaries and soldered on a new connector and it still won't go on, I called Fisher factory and they want $200.00 up front plus more when they get into the unit and in addition there will be shipping charges so that idea is out of the question. Can anyone help me out with what might be the problem or least refer me to someone more reasonable in cost.thanks
