Not that I know of!! My buddy has had one since they came out and it's still alive and finding goodies!! I guess around 20 yrs so they seem to last a long time!! If your hunting salt water I would get the CZ-21 its better for those conditions 1280 is good for fresh water.

I have had the same 1280 since 1987, and it has never leaked or skipped a beat. The only problem I have in salt water is right at the waterline where the water is moving. It will false there but tweaking the discriminate and sensitivity eliminates most of that.
