1280-X and Detector Pro Wader coils interchangeable?

joe...I have a Wader & have been told that it is comparable to the 1280x only the electronics are in the headphones....I'm not sure if the coils are interchangeable but you could contact Gary @ Detector Pro....on an air test with a dime I can get 8/9in with my Wader.....what will the 1280x get...I've been thinking about getting one but need more info on the 1280's performance....Thanks.....Tab.
