Hi all, thought you might like to see my best fined so far with my GT, The coin is a EDWARD I hammered silver halfpenny minted it 1280 in Bristol, "uk"...
i've had the gt about 2 months, fantastic machine, the only mod i've done is to move the all metal/pinpoint switches to a homemade straight shaft, which make switching so much easyer, hope you enjoy.

Gary, I can't get on site. Do you have to join them now to view pictures ?

Brian

P.S. Had a few nice gold today but came back and a tree had fallen across my drive. Ended up getting exercise I didn't need in the poring rain.

Picture up fine now.
Now I'm stuck not getting pictures up. Third attempt.

These are similar silver pennies but recovered from the sea, and salt and silver don't like each other.

That is a great find, yes it makes me want to move to UK. All of you out there are very Blessed with such Very Old History. Someday I will take one of those Packaged Trips to Hunt in UK. It will be an experience of a life time for me. You have a great Detector and I look forward to seeing more of your Finds.
