1270

Scott, a 1270 is all I used to use. I am useing a cibola right now because the 1270 is in the shop. Remember this, the 1270 is water resistant but not water proof. I shuda used a plastic bag over the control box while I was looking in the rain. I bought mine 3 years ago. Up untill then I used a Garrett. I am crazy about the 1270. I relic hunt with mine and am able to find minie' balls 10-12 inches deep. I have found coins that were incidental to my relic hunting so I know they will work on coins also. I cant see where you will go wrong a 1270. The Cibola is a great machine too and the depth is about the same. But I miss my volumn knob...d2
