1270 Iron disc?

WV62

Well-known member
Just wondering about settings for coin hunting in the iron disc mode?

The manual says this may be the preferred mode for hunting the good non-ferrous targets, because of the ability to see through iron and trash.

So would I set the iron disc control to min or max or somewhere in between for coin hunting? Just trying to get a better understanding on this iron disc mode. Ron in WV

I start about 1/2 way cause the coins will show thru but so will the tabs, only helps with iron and works real real will you'll still hit horseshoe. but the import ant part is the secondary mode should be DISC set to your liking or area trash I'll keep it at the "KEEP A NICKEL" number, deep coins and Jewelery And she'll see thru the iron, get a lot of coin in with nails.

Thanks shooter, that should give me something to work with. Ron in WV
