1270 And Cost.

1.) says who ??
2.) Why would anybody want to sell their 1270 ?? Many of those that have done it, tend to regret it later on when they realize that a detector with all the bells and whistles will not detect any deeper nor can they ID targets shown on their display with a 100% success rate.

Why is the resale value less than other Fisher's.
The 1200 series units never had the new price tag as the top of the line VDI models,
Or to say the CZ's had the higher price tags and I also believe (never bought one) the under water units had a higher price.

I am not bashing the 1270, I had one and it was a vary good machine, after it was sent back to the factory for repairs and modifications.

But most are looking for something with a meter, which lies to you by the way.

Then most people know the 1270 had a problem with the control box breaking off and had to be sent back to the factory for modification.

Also the 1270 is no longer in production.

It is a buyers market, get you one while you can.
