127 Coin Day In Santa Barbara:detecting:

Went to Santa Barbara today. I found 35 coins on the beach and 93 at a park. Total for the haul was $4.97. Also a Playboy Bunny charm, a key, a metal bead, zipper pull and the slug of metal. I also found a heart dog tag. I called the owner on that to see if she wants it back. I must have pulled 40-50 coins from under and around one park bench. I sat on the bench and detected about 15 of them.
:detecting: This puts me at 1265 coins for $126.36 since I bought my Ace on 5/17/06:detecting:

I wondered where I lost that bunny charm. :ranting: Nice haul there bro....:clapping:

...I never fail to scan under and around benches - and rarely fail to turn up something. One of my best rings was found under one. Alas, my ex has it (or had it - it may be hocked by now).

Nice day of it and truth be told THAT is what its all about, most of the time. Dont kid yourself, bud: Thats good stuff, targets were aplenty and you had F-U-N.

One more thing comes of this: you shared. Thanks!

Not bad. By the goal setting that has been talked about here recently, means you achieved two and a half hunts in one. Now that's efficient!:clapping:

I wrote a little poem about it:smoke:

Goals are for work
This is for fun
When it turns into work
I am soooo done...........:stars:

With coil in hand,
And phones on the ears,
I hope to be tecting for many more years.

I may find a penny, a quarter or ring,
It's all those damn pull tabs that don't mean a thing.

Keep looking and searching going to and fro,
What you find with a Garrett, YOU NEVER KNOW!!

This is a fun hobby for sure!!!

Goals are part of life, they keep us on track,
If you don't have a plan, you end up going back.

Hobbies, life, work, whether in concert or alone,
Take direction and focus, but...to each his own.
