1266 vs 1280

Today I air tested these 2 machines I own and found that the 1280 is lacking in depth - at least 2-3 inches less than the 1266. I passed a dime & a quarter across the coils - held to the bottom of a piece of wood for measurement. Any comments on this type of testing ? Thanks, steve in so az

The 1266 is a very deep machine. Looks like your tests are very normal.

I have little faith in air tests. Always thought placing a target in a container of moist dirt would be a better type of test. HH, Mike

Since when did the 1280 get t be a new machine - it is a water machine and has been out since heck was a pup.

it was newer than the 1266 - as per the number and the fact that I had never heard of it for many years after I started using the 1266. Am I mistaken ? Steve
