1266 Vs 1236-x2

Hi,

I do own a Fisher 1236-x2 which I keep as spare MD (my main machine is a Teknetics T2).
In my area, the experienced diggers always use Cscope 1220 or Fisher 1266 for militaria relics. It's really very popular, but still I haven't had the chance to test it.
I would like to know if anyone have tried both and could tell me the pro and cons of each machine and if it is really worths to let my 1236 go and swap it for a good used 1266.
My primary targets are militaria relics, on rocky terrains (northern Italy)
Thanks !

KJ,THE 1236X2 and 1266X are very similar in basic performance. Both are balanced very well and the 1266 has a trigger switch to pinpoint with and change dis modes. The 1266 will air test a couple inches further out than the 1236 but the in field performance is close with the nod going toward the 1266.For coin hunting I think the 1236 works better because of the discrimination. The 1236 breaks down a lot better. For the parks I would choose a 1236 for relics the 1266.
